[Dug was jumping back and forth, excitedly, occasionally taking a run at the tree. Beside him, a chubby, well-groomed corgi and a massive Mabari warhound were behaving similarly. The object of their cheerful, excessively playful attentions was currently above them, perched (or tangled, depending on how you looked at it) in the branches of a large oak.
Fenris appeared somewhat less amused than the dogs.]
If you come down, we will chase you again and we will catch you.
[Despite how ominous that statement was, Dug was mostly playing. Mostly. It was hard to garner tone, however, around his loud barking and the barking of his impromptu compatriots.]
